  1. A group of Savannah clergy leaders is calling for the resignation of the Savannah Police Chief. The calls for Chief Roy Minter's resignation revolve around the fatal shooting of a man near Carver Village by a Savannah Police Department officer. The clergy leaders are also demanding a federal investigation into the number of police shootings that occur in the city. (Savannah Morning News)
  2. The Savannah Repertory Theater will be performing "The Spitfire Grill" this weekend. The musical is about secrets in a small Wisconsin town and is based on the film by Lee David Ziotoff. The performances will begin on Friday at Georgia Southern's Jenkins Hall. (WTOC)
  3. Savannah Mayor Van Johnson is considering options for reducing the city's gun violence. The mayor is reportedly considering a curfew. Johnson says that "everything is on the table." City leaders are concerned that the holiday weekend will bring more gun violence to Savannah. (WJCL News Savannah)
