  1. The Savannah Area Chamber honored new members at its New Member Reception. The event was held at Enmarket Arena's Chatham Parkway Lexus Event room on Jun. 1. The event featured over 40 new members. Participants were able to learn about the organization's history and network. (Press Release Desk )
  2. The Savannah Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of 54th St. on Monday. The department reports that an adult male suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the shooting. The department has released limited information so far. (WTOC)
  3. The Rotary Club of Savannah has a new president — Hugh "Trip" Tollison. He was selected by the club's board of directors. He will replace outgoing club president Marjorie Young. Tollison is the club's 110th president. (WTOC)
