  1. The Savannah Speech and Hearing Center has been given $2,500 by the Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. The grant will be used for occupational therapy for children with communication disorders. Click to learn more about the center. (Savannah Tribune)
  2. Savannah High School has won the Georgia High School Association's Cooperative Spirit Award. The award honors the school with the most exemplary sportsmanship in Class AAA Region 3. It celebrates the school's athletes, students, staff, parents, and spectators for their outstanding sportsmanship during the 2021-2022 school year. (Savannah Tribune)
  3. The City of Savannah has begun the hiring process for a new Savannah Police Department chief. Mayor Van Johnson will be conducting both a national and local search for a candidate with a deep understanding of Savannah. The city is also currently searching for a permanent fire chief. (WTOC)
