- Early voting ends today in Savannah. Voters are allowed to cast ballots for the state's U.S. Senate runoff election until 5:00 p.m. at most of Chatham County's polling locations. Chatham County's Main Election Office at 1117 Eisenhower Drive, Suite E, will be open until 7:00 p.m. today. The runoff election will be next Tuesday, Dec. 6. (WTOC)
- Chatham County has released its latest food service inspection report. The county inspects various restaurant establishments and schools each month to ensure that foodborne illness is not spread throughout the community. Click to view the list of inspection scores. (WSAV)
- A new analysis by The Leapfrog Group reports that almost half of Georgia hospitals received an average grade. Savannah's Wellstar Cobb Medical Center and Wellstar Douglas Medical Center received "A"s in the analysis. The Leapfrog Group has been assigning grades to hospitals for the past decade. The grades are given based on over thirty different national performance measures. (Center Square)
