  1. The Chatham County Health Department will be offering free mammograms on Aug. 23. The free service will be offered between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at 1395 Eisenhower Drive. Participants will have to make an appointment beforehand. Call 912-356-2946 to schedule an appointment. (All On Georgia)
  2. Savannah State University is launching a new data analysis program. Students enrolled in the new major will be learning how to examine data while using it to make informed decisions. The university hopes that the new major will meet the current high demand for data analysts. (WTOC)
  3. Chatham County has been chosen to pilot a new debit card WIC program. Participants will be able to purchase approved food items with a debit card instead of vouchers. The new program is being called "eWIC." The program is meant to make trips to the grocery store easier for participants. (WTOC)
