- Savannah's Neighbors Feed Neighbors is offering residents in need the chance to collect groceries every third Saturday each month. The grocery distribution is at the Immanuel Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. There will be various fruits, vegetables, and snacks available for participants. Click here for additional information. - Savannah Kennel Club hosted Wagfest on Saturday. The event was held at Guy Minick Youth Complex. There were plenty of dog-friendly activities, such as the Fast and the Furriest 5K-9 run. Proceeds from the event are going towards the purchase of an AKC Reunite trailer for Effingham County. (WTOC)
- After years of neglect, Savannah's Evergreen Cemetery will be condemned. The site has been serving the community since the 1930s, and the city is in the process of purchasing the cemetery's grave sites. The city will reportedly restore the cemetery after the purchase is finalized. (WSAV-TV)
