- Savannah's Joseph Tribble Park will be closing for lake repairs. The closure will start on Monday, Nov. 14, and will likely last for about six months. The repairs will be fixing a breach that caused water to drain from the lake. The lake will be refilled with water and fish after the repairs are completed. (WJCL News Savannah)
- Savannah's Comcast has released a statement regarding its preparation efforts for Tropical Storm Nicole. The telecom company is preparing to restore its network if the storm impacts it. Customers are also encouraged to avoid downed power and cable lines and to plug electronics into a surge protector to avoid storm damage. (Savannah Morning News)
- A number of Chatham County schools have announced closures in anticipation of Tropical Storm Nicole's impact. Some schools have also announced that classes will be moved online.
