- The Chatham County District Attorney's Office has decided not to prosecute a deadly officer-involved shooting that occurred last summer. The office has concluded that the Savannah Police Department officer was justified in shooting 36-year-old Maurice Antonio Mincey. The bodycam footage reportedly showed Mincey placing a firearm in his lap while in his vehicle. (WJCL News Savannah)
- Chatham County Police Department has partnered with Lights On to reduce the number of tickets issued for residents caught with broken tail lights and turn signals. Officers will pass out vouchers for free repairs at participating auto shops. The vouchers must be used within 14 days of being issued to motorists. (WJCL)
- AURA Fest 2022 is coming to Savannah on June 11. The festival will celebrate underground rock music at the Ships of The Sea Museum in downtown Savannah. Click for a full lineup of participating bands and to purchase tickets. (WSAV-TV)
