  1. Police are searching for a teenage boy who is missing in Chatham County. Kymonie Corde Matthews, 14, was last seen in Garden City at Groves High School on Feb. 6. Matthews is described as a Black male, 100 pounds, 5 foot 4 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. If you recognize his photo at the link and think you have seen him within the missing timeframe, please contact the Port Wentworth Police Department at (912) 964-4360. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. Savannah Early College High School has been recognized as the only school in the state to be named a 2022 Cognia© School of Distinction. The school officially received the award during a ceremony on Wednesday. interim Head of School Christina Conners said, "This recognition highlights Savannah Early College High School's commitment to achieving academic excellence and our purpose – preparing our scholars to become college completers."   3. In case you missed it: The Savannah Police Department is searching for the driver of a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck who struck two pedestrians on Monday evening. The pedestrians, Barbara Curry, 75, and Thomas Curry, 76, both of Myrtle Beach, were hit while crossing Liberty Street around 8:30 p.m. The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene.
