- A woman died after crashing near the Little Neck Road overpass. According to the Georgia State Patrol, a sedan veered off I-95 North, grazed a guard rail, and hit the cement support for the Little Neck Road overpass head-on. The driver was unresponsive when first responders arrived. Six people were in the car, and the five living passengers — another female passenger and four children — are at a Savannah hospital in critical condition. (WTOC)
- The suspect in an ongoing soccer complex murder case has allegedly violated their bond agreement. The man in question, Mario DeShaun Wallace, was seen on video footage during the commission of another murder. Over a year ago, in October 2021, Savannah police detectives determined that he killed Rajah Young in the parking lot at the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex. (Subscription: Savannah Morning News)
