Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:

  1. The Savannah Police Department is searching for a suspect that crashed into a department vehicle before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred in the area of Whitaker and West 43rd street. The department vehicle overturned and the two officers inside were transported to a local hospital for treatment. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. Savannah Philharmonic's Phil the Neighborhood series will be presented on three consecutive weekends. The series will be offering a free hour of music in 8 Savannah neighborhoods.   3. The Chatham County Board of Registrars has determined Sunday early voting will be allowed. Georgia mandates early voting but Sunday early voting has to be voted on by the county.
