With a mild average temperature and moderate pollution levels, the city stands out nationally as a top spot for evening walks, architecture viewing, and after-dark sightseeing that locals may see visitors increasingly seeking out.
   

2. These 2 Georgia cities among 50 cheapest, safest places to live (savannahnow.com) — Savannah has been ranked the 21st cheapest and safest place to live in the U.S., with strong marks for amenities, commute, cost of living, health and safety, and housing. The study cites an annual cost of living just over $45,000 and a median household income of about $56,000. However, Savannah scored poorly on school quality and user ratings compared with other cities.
   

3. Nine Line Apparel hosts dedication ceremony for fallen service members (wtoc.com) — A Savannah-based apparel company has dedicated a special parking space to honor fallen service members, including longtime Savannah firefighter Michael Curry. The new memorial at Nine Line Apparel features a QR code linking to biographies and photos, giving residents a simple way to learn about and remember local heroes. Organizers say other organizations can request similar signs for their own lots.
   

4. Pump Prices in Georgia Remain Steady, Up Only One Cent (aaa.com) — Savannah drivers are currently paying about $2.73 per gallon, the highest average among Georgia’s metro areas, though statewide prices remain relatively low compared to last year. AAA says steady crude oil prices and softer demand are keeping gas costs in check, and it’s sharing money‑saving and safety tips for motorists on the road.
