  1. Savannah Children’s Theatre starts its performances of "Pete the Cat" this weekend. The show tells the popular story of a guitar-playing, skateboarding riding, cat named Pete. The show is the start of the theatre's 19th season at the Historic Savannah Theatre. Click here to get tickets to the performance. (WTOC)
  2. The Savannah Police Department has arrested a 55-year-old man for robbing a bank. According to the department, Shawn Kelly robbed the Bull Street Well Fargo location. He has been charged with armed robbery. Thankfully, no one was injured during the robbery. (Savannah Patch)
  3. According to tourism leaders, Savannah's small businesses are recovering for the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The hospitality industry felt the pandemic the hardest. To make it through the pandemic, the industry had to terminate employees, implement pay cuts, and close for periods of time. Many Savannah businesses relied on PPP loans and grants to weather the pandemic. (fox28media.com)
