Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:

  1. A Saturday evening residential fire has displaced six Savannah residents. The Savannah Fire Department responded to the 1000 block of Porter Street to extinguish the blaze. It is not currently evident what started the house fire. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. The City of Savannah is using summer camps to engage students in a positive atmosphere. The programs include young entrepreneurship workshops, athletic camps, and aquatics activities. Click for a full program schedule. (fox28media.com)
  3. The national March for Our Lives movement held a rally at Savannah's Daffin Park on Saturday. The event was meant to increase voter engagement and call for gun reform to curb violence. Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams made a surprise appearance with Savannah Mayor Van Johnson. (WTOC)
