  1. Yesterday, Savannah police shut down roads around the federal courthouse due to safety concerns. Officials said the road closures are due to structural issues and concerns. Road closures are for both vehicles and pedestrians. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. A driver hit a man pushing a broken-down car off the road in Savannah on Thursday night. The vehicle, driven by Kevin Deal, reportedly broke down at the intersection of Eisenhower Drive and Noble Oaks Drive. The 21-year-old victim is now critically injured. (WJCL News Savannah)
  3. With Georgia Arbor Day just around the corner, the Savannah Tree Foundation is getting an early start to its planting. Beginning this weekend, the foundation will be hosting weekly tree-planting events, with an end goal of planting 175 trees this month. (WTOC)
