- Picker Joe's held its annual 'A Santa Paws Christmas' this weekend to benefit rescue animals. Visitors got to enjoy Big Bon Pizza, as well as music by Trae Gurley & the Band. Picker Joe's new Coffee & Vintage Soda Shop with Leopold's Ice Cream will be selling tons of delicious treats – all for a great cause. All donations from the event will go to Coastal Pet Rescue. - The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office gave back to the community with Shopping with the Sheriff! By teaming up with Operation Kid Forward, Chatham County officers were able to host the event. They gave 40 kids $100 each to buy the perfect toys for the holidays. The children also went home the proud owners of brand new bikes. (WSAV-TV)
- A Sunday morning shooting left one person in the hospital. Savannah police responded to calls about a shooting in the 1000 block of Shawnee Street. According to police, the shooting was the result of domestic violence. One individual was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. (WTOC)
