- Savannah's Marcus Johnson and Tyson Speaks, both 20 years old, are supporting the city's homeless through local nonprofit Divine Faith Ministries. The pair regularly donate water and clothing to the city's most vulnerable residents. The organization reportedly plans to host its annual fundraising gala soon. (WSAV-TV)
- Savannah's newest hotel has officially broken ground. The 170-unit hotel is being built at the former site of the Savannah Electric Power Company. The hotel will be operated by North Point Hospitality. Click to view the project's design. (WJCL News Savannah)
- The Savannah City Council has passed the TSPLOST agreement. The new agreement will hopefully bring the city $143 million — enough to fund the next five years of infrastructure projects. The agreement passed on a 6-3 vote of the Savannah City Council. (WTOC)

- Regions Bank & SCORE will be hosting a Fraud Prevention Resources for Businesses Seminar on Thursday, Aug. 25. The online course will be offered between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. (City of Savannah)
- The Savannah Entrepreneurial Center will be offering a How To Start a Business class on Friday, Jul. 23 at 9:30 a.m. Registration is required for online participants. This class is free. (City of Savannah)
- Savannah residents can participate in an Entrepreneur's Credit Building Workshop on Jul. 26 between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. This free workshop will teach residents how to build credit and how to qualify for a $1,000 business loan. (City of Savannah)
