  1. The Savannah Police Department concludes its crime reduction task force with 26 arrests. The department's task force operated on Jul. 29 and Jul. 30. The task force utilized information and manpower from local, state, and federal agencies. 168 citations and 41 warnings were also given out during the operation. (Savannah Patch)
  2. Oglethorpe Mall's DLTR store handed out 250 bookbags and free haircuts on Sunday. This is the second time that the store has done a giveaway like this. The DTLR brand distributed 1,500 bookbags across their stores in the United States. The haircuts were provided by local Savannah barbers. (WJCL News Savannah)
  3. An ultra-rare comic book was on display during Sunday's Savannah Comic Con. The displayed copy of Spider-Mann was the first issue to feature Green Goblin. The highest bid for the comic has been $50,000 but the owner will reportedly hold on to it for the foreseeable future. (WJCL News Savannah)
