🌱 Savannah Named Top Winter Getaway Location + Early Voting Update

Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

1. Oprah Winfrey's Oprah Daily lifestyle brand has recognized Savannah has a top winter getaway location. The city earned the honorable first mention on the list. 2. Savannah currently has one of the highest gas prices in Georgia. An average gallon of gas costs $3.15 per gallon in the state. Savannah's average gas price is nine cents higher at $3.24 per gallon. The only two Georgia locations with a higher gas price are Hinesville-Fort Stewart and Brunswick. (Fox 28 Media)
3. The Savannah Civic Center reported a large number of early voters casting a ballot on Sunday. Despite the large turnout, voters reported lines moved quickly and their ballots were submitted within 20 minutes of arriving at the polling location. Georgia continues to have a record-breaking turnout of early voters for the Nov. 8 General Election. (WJCL)
