  1. Several Uber drivers in the Savannah area reported a glitch in the company's app that has caused delays and frustrations. The option to pick up passengers has disappeared, leading to fewer drivers and higher prices for riders. The problem seems isolated to the Savannah area, causing confusion among arriving passengers, and drivers are using alternative apps like Lyft until the issue is fixed. (WTOC)
  2. The American Traditions Vocal Collection is hosting its 30th annual singing competition at the Plant Riverside District in Downtown Savannah. The event features judges performing on the first day, followed by singers competing in various music genres from today (Feb. 21) through Friday, Feb. 24, including jazz, art song, Broadway, gospel, and country.   3. Victory North, an event venue in Savannah, donated almost $4,000 to the Emmaus House Soup Kitchen following last month's "Georgia on My Mind" concert featuring local musicians. Victory North hosts several events and concerts annually to give back to the community. The Emmaus House Soup Kitchen provides food, shower facilities, and clean clothes to those in need, including the homeless. (WTOC)

  • Counselors and technical education teachers from the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System were treated to a special appreciation luncheon on Monday. The luncheon allowed staff to enjoy a food truck lunch, fellowship with their colleagues, listen to music, play games, and simply enjoy each other's company, with over 300 staff participating in the event.
