- Unique Design X Group, "a nomadic and female-founded commercial platform" that celebrates art and collectible design, will host Unique Design X Savannah 2023 from May 31 to Jun. 4 at the Kehoe Ironworks Building in Savannah. The art and design fair will be open to the public daily from noon to 7 p.m. The event will feature the works of 20 different artists and designers, showcasing a curated selection of Asian and African contemporary designs. (Savannah Business Journal)
- Hyundai showcased its latest electric car, the IONIQ 6, in downtown Savannah, with plans to potentially produce it at its new plant, which aims to be fully operational by 2025. Nearby Bryan County is set to house Hyundai's $5.5 billion electric vehicle plant, which is currently under construction and expected to start production in the next few years. The plant, located on a nearly 3,000-acre site will create over 8,000 new jobs and provide an economic boost to the surrounding counties. (WSAV 3)
- Kessler Elementary School was evacuated on Wednesday, May 10 due to a suspected bomb threat. All staff and students were taken to a safe location while officers looked into the threat. Just before 6:00 p.m., the grounds were cleared. (WSAV 3)

- The Savannah Music Festival is set to make appearances at three different venues over the summer, including a free festival at The Park at Eastern Wharf on March 18. The event will feature performances by Easy Honey, Jive Talk, Sam Burchfield, and Savannah's own Intracoastal Playboys. For more information about the Wharfstop event, visit this link.
