Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:
- The City of Savannah will be participating in this year's United Way fundraising campaign. The city is encouraging the community to participate in the campaign by donating and volunteering. Savannah Mayor Van Johnson wants to beat the city's 2021 contribution of $130,000. The goal for this year is $150,000. (fox28media.com)
- The Savannah Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is hosting a voting rally this Saturday in Forsyth Park. The rally is titled "Reclaim the Soul of Voting: Rally~March~Crusade.” Participants will have the opportunity to meet with candidates while learning ballot issues. The rally will be between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (WSAV-TV)
- The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives has created a new task force to address illegal guns in Savannah. The task force is comprised of eight agents and will focus on criminals committing gun violence. The department reports that the rate of gun crime has risen in Savannah. (WJCL News Savannah)

- The Savannah Police Department is reminding the community that the department will not ask for money to remedy missed court dates, outstanding warrants, or unpaid tickets over the phone.
