  1. A bomb threat evacuated a Savannah Walmart on Sunday. The incident occurred on Abercorn Street. Both customers and employees evacuated the store. The Savannah Police Department systematically swept through the store with K-9 units. The store was reopened after the department confirmed the threat as a hoax. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. The Savannah Police Department reports that a man was shot in the leg at 500 Pennsylvania Avenue. The incident occurred on Sunday evening. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The department is investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting. (WTOC)
  3. July 4 has come and gone but fireworks might still linger. Local adoption experts have provided a list of tips and tricks to mitigate the threat the fireworks have on dogs. Pet owners are advised to offer a quiet space for dogs with access to white noise such as a dishwasher or an A/C unit. It is also important to have pets microchipped. Click for the full list of tips.
