- The Savannah Police Department is investigating a Williamson Street shooting. The incident reportedly occurred early Sunday morning in the 300 block. One victim suffered from serious injuries during the shooting. The victim was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment. The investigation is in its early stages. (WTOC)
- The Savannah community gathered on Saturday to memorialize victims of gun violence. Community members donated victims' items to the National Building Museum as part of the Gun Violence Memorial Project. The project is meant to raise awareness of an issue that is affecting communities across the country. The exhibit closes at the end of September. (WTOC)
- Savannah's NH Skilo has pleaded guilty to drug possession and COVID-19 relief fraud. The Savannah rapper is facing up to 26 years in federal prison for the charges. Brandon Lamar Williams, 30 years old, obtained more than $40,000 through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act's Paycheck Protection Program. (ActionNewsJax.com)
