COBB COUNTY, GA — Join the Trust for Public Land and Cobb County as early as Sunday and learn about the future greenway trail coming to the Chattahoochee River.

Cobb County and the TPL are hosting three free RiverLands Rambles in June, which are walking tours along the river to explain the area's "bold vision," according to a news release from Cobb County. Tours are slated for this Sunday, June 6; Saturday, June 12; and Sunday, June 13.

Volunteer guides will lead groups along the RiverLands showcase site, where Cobb County and the TPL will build a 3-mile section of greenway trail, trailheads, overlooks and other amenities. Guests will experience history by visiting the Shoupades — a Civil War-era entrenchment — and see the before stages of where the RiverLands main stem greenway trail meets the Nickajack Creek tributary trail.
