5th Person Arrested In Infant's Shooting Death At Cobb Motel: Report
The 9-month-old girl was killed on Tuesday at a motel near Circle 75 Parkway, police said.
SMYRNA, GA — A fifth person has been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting at a Cobb County motel that claimed the life of a 9-month-old girl, according to a report citing police.
Noah Martin has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime following the Tuesday shooting at the Budgetel Inn near Circle 75 Parkway, WSB-TV reported.
According to arrest warrants obtained by WSB, Martin is also accused of shooting at Ladarrius Brown, who has also been charged in the shooting. It’s unclear if Brown was actually shot.

Officers responded to the shooting around 8 p.m. When they arrived, police said the child's mother told officers her daughter had been shot.

Police said the infant was "beyond lifesaving measures" and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not identified, and a motive for the shooting was not revealed.
Cobb County police on Thursday said they arrested Camron C. Harris, 23, and charged him with tampering with evidence and giving false statements.
Anthony Smith was also charged in connection with the fatal shooting, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Cobb County Jail records showed Smith was charged with tampering with evidence.
Two other suspects, Ladarrius Brown and Jayvian Young, were arrested as well, WSB-TV previously reported.
Jail records on Thursday showed Brown and Young are facing charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
