  1. The Georgia attorney general's office released a statement on the Cobb County Board of Commissioner's amended redistricting map. The unofficial opinion released by the office said that the attorney general believes the map isn't legally binding, but the office can't start a lawsuit and would need to wait for an appropriate party to refile a withdrawn case before getting involved.   2. Cobb County Public Library officials announced that the Vinings Library will reopen on Monday, Jan. 23. The library was closed for repairs due to a burst sprinkler line in December.   3. The Aline Wolfe Center and Therapy Pool in Smryna will likely be closed until sometime in March. The Wolfe Center was one of three county buildings that suffered damage from frozen, burst pipes in December. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
