Back To School: Cobb County Schools 2021-22 School Calendar

COBB COUNTY, GA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in our area, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Cobb County.

The first day of school for Cobb County School District students is Monday, Aug. 2.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Cobb County.

Masks will be strongly recommended for students, staff, and visitors, but not required at Cobb County Schools facilities, on buses or at extracurricular activities.

First Day: Aug. 2

School Holiday (Labor Day): Sept. 6

Fall Break: Sept. 27-Oct. 1

Student Holiday/Staff Workday: Nov. 2

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22-26

Winter Holidays: Dec. 20-Jan. 4 (staff reports back Jan. 3)

School Holiday (MLK Jr. Day): Jan. 17

Winter Break: Feb. 21-25

Spring Break: April 4-8

Last Day: May 25
