• Police arrest suspect in Smyrna package store robbery (macon.com) — A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at the Royal Package Store on Atlanta Road SE in Smyrna, where a clerk was allegedly held at gunpoint and cash and cigars were taken. Cobb County authorities say the suspect, previously convicted of armed robbery, now faces multiple felony charges and is being held without bond in the county detention center.
