SMYRNA-VININGS, GA — Cooler autumn days are quickly approaching in the Smyrna-Vinings area, which means it's time to start planning your family’s annual trek to the country to find the best pumpkins.

There are a few weeks left to pick out a great pumpkin for a Halloween jack-o'-lantern. Many pumpkin patches offer free activities such as hayrides, corn mazes and games for the kids.
