Chairman Blasts Commissioner for Police Criticism
The meeting devolved into a shouting match which caused one commissioner to leave the proceedings and collapse just outside the room.

COBB COUNTY, GA -- A Cobb County commissioner required medical treatment after Chairman Tim Lee rebuked her for her criticism of the county police department, according to a report.
Lisa Cupid collapsed outside the meeting room following an intense shouting match between herself and Lee regarding a proposal to conduct a thorough review of the Cobb County Police Department, WSB-TV reports. Paramedics attended to Cupid, who returned to the meeting after receiving treatment.
Lee said Cupid’s comments on the department were not constructive and added that she had yet to provide any solutions to the problems she claims the department has, according to WSB-TV. Lee apologized for his harsh tone after the meeting resumed.

Cupid who is black, has been advocating for a review of department policies after she says she was trailed by an unmarked police car in an incident which she claims was racial profiling. Cupid said in a memorandum to Commissioner Tim Lee that if she was not in county government she would have moved away immediately after the incident.
The officer who allegedly tailed Cupid is facing further sanction after he was caught on dash cam video telling a black motorist to ”go back to Fulton County” and saying he didn’t “want to hear about your people.”
