Chuy's at Akers Mill is Looking to Hire 165 People

VININGS, GA -- Chuy’s Tex-Mex near Cumberland Mall is looking to hire 165 employees, the restaurant said Monday.

The Austin, Texas-based chain is known for its signature sauces and funky decor, including a nacho bar served out of a car trunk. But its hand-made tortillas have a serious following in the Southwest.

The eatery is slated to open an Akers Mill location in February, but before it can do that it needs to fill a variety of full- and part-time positions, including hosts, servers, bussers and bartenders.

“At Chuy’s, we pride ourselves on working hard and having fun at the same time,” Bryan Turner, local owner/operator of the Akers Mill location, said in a news release. “We’re eager to put together a team of individuals who will demonstrate our culture of fresh food and friendly service to customers.”

The eatery is encouraging applicants to show up at the store Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Chuy’s Akers Mill location is at 2955 Cobb Pkwy SE #830 in the Akers Mill Square shopping center.
