  1. Cobb County Police Chief Stuart VanHoozer will be speaking to the Cobb Chamber during its final meeting of 2022. The meeting will be held at Indian Hills Country Club on Thursday, Nov. 10. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. Cobb Chamber members will pay $25 for tickets, with general admission set at $35. Click for ticket information. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. Cobb County Superior Court Judge Kimberly Childs has sentenced Lashumbia D. Session to life without the possibility of parole. The sentence was handed down after Session was convicted of eight counts of armed robbery. The conviction was for a robbery spree that occurred throughout 2018. (Subscription: AJC.com)
  3. Smyrna's next City Council meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, at 7:00 p.m. The council will be discussing the authorization for the City Clerk to post a legal ad in the Marietta Daily Journal, an increase in the 2023 adopted budget, 2023 employee benefits insurance plans, and more.
