Cobb Commissioners Will Try To Solve Braves Dispute
Baseball team contends it is owed money by Cobb County for road improvements.

SMYRNA, GA -- Cobb County Commissioners are expected to vote Tuesday on a dispute over infrastructure upgrades associated with SunTrust Park, Patch has learned.
The Atlanta Braves contend that the county needs to reimburse them for spending more than $14 million on road improvements around the park at the adjacent development, The Battery. The projects include elevated walkways for pedestrians as well as road and parking projects, according to news reports.
Cobb County, on the other hand, said that it has spent nearly $70 million on improvements of its own, including nine road projects that facilitate the movement of large crowds to and from the surrounding developments, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
