For anyone planning a trip to the Cobb County animal shelter, there's an important update you need to know: as previously reported, the shelter closed last week due to a dog testing positive for "strep zoo," a contagious respiratory bacterial infection. 3. Don't miss this week's Cobb Library Bookmobile. If you missed Monday's visit to the Kennesaw location, be sure to visit the East Cobb Park Pop-Up at 3322 Roswell Road in nearby Marietta this Wednesday.
