- Some Cobb County voters have reported that their ballots are missing the Mableton cityhood question. If approved, parts of unincorporated Smyrna and Austell would be included in the new city. It is unclear how many ballots are missing the question. (11 Alive)
- Smyrna's Muss & Turners is offering spicy pumpkin hummus. The fall-inspired fare was devised by Chef de Cuisine John Wilmot. The dish features roasted and pureed pumpkin accompanied by crispy fried sage. The dish is drizzled with a sweet and sour pomegranate gastrique. Muss & Turners is on Cumberland Parkway. - Cobb County residents will be able to dispose of old, unwanted, or expired drugs through the Atlanta VA Healthcare System. The drug take-back event will be on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 at AVAHCS medical facilities. The facility will provide participants with a medication disposal mail back envelope.
