🌱 Cobb County Food Scores + Wrong-Way Driving Crash

Here are the top three stories today in Smyrna-Vinings:

1. The Cobb & Douglas Department of Public Health has released its food scores for last week. The scores are given after restaurant inspections. The ten locations on the food score list received A grades except for Pappasito's Cantina which received a B grade. Click the following link for the full food score list. (East Cobb News)
2. The Cobb County Police Department has been struggling with finding new recruits. To address the issue, the department has increased its advertising and number of job fairs. The department currently has about 100 vacancies. The current staff is reportedly overworked and unable to take vacation time or days off. The issue is affecting many law enforcement agencies in Georgia. (Cobb County Courier)
3. The Georgia Department of Transportation reported a wrong-way driving crash caused delays on Interstate 285 eastbound on Friday morning. The fatal crash occurred around 3:00 a.m. near the I-75 northbound exit when the wrong-way driver struck a tractor-trailer. All of the interstate's lanes were reopened by 6:43 a.m. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
