Nick has been with Cobb Schools for eight years. Before working for Cobb, Nick worked at Delta Airlines with facilities and properties for 28 years.
SPLOST is the Special-Purpose Local-Option Sales Tax of 1 penny on all purchases made in Cobb County. Nick discusses what Ed-SPLOST funds can and cannot be used for and how it differs from funding that comes from property taxes. Nick also discusses the critical difference between Ed-SPLOST and borrowing money with bonds.
