  1. Smyrna will be hosting the annual Coming Home for the Holidays event on Nov. 29 near City Hall from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This is the annual kick-off celebration for Smyrna's holiday season. There will be a tree lighting, music, and visits with Santa in Market Village. Santa will be lighting the giant Christmas tree at 7:00 p.m. (City of Smyrna)
  2. The Cobb County School District's hand-rinsing machines have had operational problems. The district spent almost $10 million on the machines.
