1. A Cobb County man is recovering in the hospital after being struck by a car while riding a motorcycle. The incident occurred on Powers Ferry Road and Delk Road earlier this month. Cameron Edwards was in the ICU for nearly two weeks before being transferred to a room in the Trauma Unit. Edwards' family says they hope the driver will be charged for the incident. (WSBTV)
2. The Cobb County Sheriff's Office's new Electric Transport Vehicle can carry prisoners up to 200 miles on a single charge. The vehicle is a 2022 Envirotech Logistics Van that has been upgraded to transport prisoners. The new vehicle will allow the department to reduce operating costs and the county's carbon footprint. 3. Smyrna's Tree Board will be meeting at Brawner Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Community Development Conference Room on the second floor of the building.
