  1. Two Cobb County drivers were arrested on Thursday, Oct. 20, for racing. The incident occurred in Powder Springs, and officials clocked the drivers racing over 137 miles per hour. The drivers' speed was extremely dangerous for innocent motorists on the roadways. (WSBTV)
  2. Freshly is closing its Cobb County facility. The meal delivery service company is shuttering the facility a little over a year after announcing its opening. Freshly is the latest manufacturing and distribution facility in the Atlanta area to announce layoffs. Walmart and Sherwood Food Distributors are also laying off Cobb County employees.   3. The Smyrna Handmade Holiday Market will be from Dec. 2 to Dec. 4 at Brawner Hall. The popular market will be operating from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 1:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
