  1. The Georgia Department of Public Health has released Cobb County's COVID-19 report for the past 14 days. The report states that Cobb County had 657 new COVID-19 cases over the past 14 days bringing the total up to 162,108 since the start of the pandemic. The state of Georgia has had 4,036 new cases over the same period, with 88 COVID-related deaths. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. Cobb County is currently under a wind advisory. The National Weather Service issued the advisory in response to Tropical Storm Ian impacting Georgia. The organization expects wind gusts of up to 35 miles per hour to occur in Cobb County. The county is also under a high fire danger alert. (Cobb County Courier)
  3. The Smyrna Crafts & Drafts Fall Festival will be on Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30, in downtown Smyrna. The festival will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the festival is free. The city will be releasing additional information as the festival dates get closer. (City of Smyrna)
