Disaster Training in Smyrna: How Citizens Can Sign Up

SMYRNA, GA — For city residents looking to become a key part of the region's response to disasters, there's a new opportunity to learn valuable skills.

Registration is open for the fall 2016 Community Emergency Response Team class. The program runs from Sept. 6 until Oct. 14.

"You never know when a disaster might strike your community — it's time to be prepared," the Smyrna Fire Department noted in a recent social media post.
