Driver In Cobb Bus Collision To Face Charges: Report
Motorist fleeing a hit-and-run smashed into Bryant Elementary school bus head-on, police say.

SOUTH COBB, GA -- The driver of a vehicle that hit a Cobb County school bus head-on is expected to face charges, Patch has learned.
The crash, which injured six people, happened shortly after school let out Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of Crestside Drive and Riverside Parkway.
The school bus was from Bryant Elementary, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle is believed to have been fleeing another collision when he hit the bus. Law enforcement officials are investigating the driver in the hit-and-run as well as the bus crash, WXIA reports.
The bus was occupied with two students along with the driver, police told WGCL-TV.

A male student was taken to Scottish Rite Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and a female student was taken to Kennestone Hospital, Cobb County schools spokeswoman Donna Lowry told WXIA.
The bus driver was still in Kennestone Hospital late Wednesday.
