Election Results 2015: Voters Pick Local Leaders

Early returns have incumbent Mayor Max Bacon ahead of both Alex Backry and Wade Lnenicka with 66 percent of the vote. In Ward 1, incumbent Melleny Pritchett is in danger of being ousted by Derek Norton, as the challenger has 80 percent of the votes so far. Teri Anulewicz is defeating Brandon Bentley by a 66-34 margin, Charles “Corkey” Welch has 63 percent of the vote in his race against Alan Dunn, and Susan Wilkinson has 68 percent of the votes in her race against Jerry Jacobs. Doug Stoner holds 57 percent of votes in Ward 6 against Tara Simon.
Three candidates are in the running for the office of mayor; incumbent Max Bacon, former councilman Wade Lnenicka, and Alex Backry.

In Ward 1, incumbent Melleny Pritchett is up against Derek Norton, while Andrea Blustein is running unopposed in Ward 2. Ward 3 will see incumbent Teri Anulewicz and Brandon Bentley vying for a council seat. Alana Dunn goes up against incumbent Charles “Corkey” Welch in Ward 4.
In Ward 5, incumbent Susan Wilkinson will try to retain her seat against Jerry Jacobs. In Lnenicka’s former Ward 6, Tara Simon and Doug Stoner are vying to replace the mayoral candidate. Ron Fennel is running unopposed in Ward 7.
The Cobb County Board of Elections and Registrations has set up an online results list which will begin updating once the polls close.
