Fall Jonquil Festival is This Weekend

The free event on the Smyrna VIllage Green will feature vendors, food, live music, and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The Smyrna Village Green will come to life on Oct. 24 and 25 in celebration of the city’s annual Fall Jonquil Festival, a free event which has graced the city for more than 20 years.

According to the city’s website, the festival begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, following the Smyrna Children’s Halloween Costume Parade, and closes for the day at 6 p.m. Sunday’s fun will commence at noon and close at 5 p.m.

During the festival, vendors will be on hand selling arts and crafts, delicious food, and spreading awareness of their nonprofit organizations. Friends of the Smyrna Library will host a book sale during the festival, and Keep Smyrna Beautiful will be handing out jonquil bulbs for planting.
