GA Rep. Erick Allen To Host Virtual Town Hall On 2021 Legislature

State Rep. Erick Allen, who represents Smyrna in the state House, will host a virtual town hall to discuss the legislative session Jan. 13.

SMYRNA, GA — State Rep. Erick Allen, who represents Smyrna in the state House, will discuss the 2021 Georgia legislative session in a virtual town hall format Wednesday, the representative announced in a news release Jan. 12.

The town hall will take place via Zoom on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m., and advanced registration is required. During the meeting, Allen will discuss his upcoming legislative priorities, provide updates regarding COVID-19 and how the Georgia General Assembly will conduct its official business at the state Capitol this session, which began Monday, according to the release. Among Allen's legislative priorities is House Bill 3, which further addresses ethylene oxide emission in Georgia.

Allen will be joined by Dr. Janet Memark, district director of Cobb & Douglas Public Health, as well as an unnamed representative from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.
