  1. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified the individual who was shot while fleeing from the Cobb County Police Department. Isaiah Stewart, 18, was one of four individuals fleeing from officers in the 1200 block of Winchester Parkway. The officers allege a gun was pointed at them. Stewart attempted to hide in a manhole during the incident. (Patch)
  2. Good Samaritans provided lifesaving first aid to a Smyrna resident during a crash in Clay County, Indiana. The 40-year-old resident was injured when his semi-truck rolled onto its side. The Good Samaritans created a tourniquet on his leg while waiting for the arrival of first responders. He has been flown to an Indianapolis hospital for further treatment. (Fox 59)
  3. Cobb County's Gretchen Fortney, 52, has been charged with strangling her 78-year-old mother to death. Martha Fortney was found by her husband with her robe's belt tied around her neck. Gretchen has been charged with murder and aggravated assault strangulation. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
