Here's hoping your Halloween costume doesn't have layers as temperatures climb, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
ATLANTA, GA — It may be time to rethink that heavy Halloween costume. We're in for a hot weekend, as temperatures climb from the low-80s the mid-80s. We'll peak at 85 degrees on Halloween.
The forecast for the weekend is sunny, with noticeable wind through Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
On Monday, we'll have sunny skies and 85 degrees. For trick-or-treating, we'll cool off slightly as the sun sets, but will still be in the 70s as ghosts and goblins take to the streets.

Daytime temperatures will stay in the 80s for most of the week before fall temps look poised to return next weekend.

Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 58. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.
Monday: Sunny, with a high near 85.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 58.
