Georgia Weather Forecast: Smoke Relief This Weekend
Wildfire smoke will continue Friday, but some should clear this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA -- Winds Friday are expected to bring smoke from wildfires back into metro Atlanta, but there may be some relief this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Dry conditions will continue through the weekend, as wildfire concerns continue for most of north and central Georgia.
"Outdoor burning of any kind is strongly discouraged and already banned in many locations," weather service forecasters note.

We'll have a colder weekend, with highs near 63 degrees and overnight lows near freezing for some parts of the region.
Temperatures will return to the upper 60s on Monday and stay there through the week.

Here's the weekend forecast from the National Weather Service:
Veterans Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 63. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. East wind around 5 mph.
Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68.
